The population of Cronyville is now 20 again. Please join me in welcoming our two newest full-time members to the CGA: George "Jorge From UA" Tzagournis and John Brinkman. Many of you know John and most of you know Jorge. I'm sure you will agree that, along with Smokin' Joe, we are fortunate to be able to add men of such integrity and substance to the league. But let's get to the important stuff. All three guys like to touch 'em all. All three of them appreciate the value of a good party. And two of them like to deal Blackjack. OK, now we're talkin'! I think it is safe to say that the social element of the league will not be diminished with the addition of these three dudes. So, along with "That's good" and "Max Net Quad," you can add the following to the list of things you are likely to overhear this year in the CGA: "Special permission to go $40 please?" Welcome to the CGA gentlemen!
The League Office will announce early next week the date and time for the upcoming Supplemental Team Draft. Tentative plans call for the names of the two new members to be put into a hat; thereafter Mr. Schoemer and Mr. Swanson will each draw the name of their 2007 partner. The order of selection will be determined by a coin toss.
