Season Opener Weather Update

The weather forecast for tomorrow is somewhat sketchy. The current forecast calls for a temperature of 72 degrees, with a 70% chance of thunderstorms and winds from the south-southwest at 22 mph. The forecast also calls for lightning, which means whether or not we will play may not be decided until late Monday afternoon. I will post an update right here at or about 3 PM telling you whether to report to the course or not. There will be no phone calls or emails. If you call the course, they will tell you to call me. If you call me, you will be told by my voice mail greeting to check the web page.

Speaking of weather forecasts, the weather box on this page has been updated. If you click on "10-day" you will be taken to the 10 day forecast for Dublin. If you select Golf Weather in the box that says Weather For Your Life, you will customize the page to show you the Golf Index (the setting will be stored and you will not have to reselect Golf Weather the next time you visit the page). I prefer to call it the Touchable Index. As you can see, tomorrow gets a 2 rating, which means it isn't going to be very touchable. But things could change, so check back throughout the day and tomorrow for updates.
