The CGA gathered in mid March to do what they love to do.....pull their fate for another golf season. One anonymous league member summed it up best "I really do like all of my fellow league members, but ride with most of them for 16 weeks and I bet you that would change."
The league members put a new rule in place that mandated outside of league champions there will be no same teams in back to back seasons. The golf gods laughed at this and immediately pulled Tzagournis and Porterfield out of the hat. If you voted against this rule, you just might have some of the golf god karma this season.
When it was all said and done and the last card was played in the high rollers room (3:30 am), the teams were as follows:

Changes in the League Front Office
The league was a buzz with all kinds of rumors as to why Greg would resign from his role as commish. Was he forced out? Is Connie leaving him? Is he starting his own league with Brian & Wes from the GCD? Is he having an affair with Kim at the GCD and there was a conflict of interest?
Let me be the first to put all of these rumors to rest. Greg simply wanted to see a change and he challenged me to take over the league. After receiving the proper votes from the league I accepted the position of league commissioner for a period of two years. In my first act in office, I have appointed Greg to be Asst. Commish, WebMaster and he will handle all duties with the web-site. When asked for a comment Greg responded with "What a great opportunity this is to still stay involved with the league and be able to work with such outstanding leadership. I have never felt better about the direction of the league and the future of the league." In addition, I have appointed Jason Diwik to continue his responsibilities as Treasurer. With the three of us getting a long (for the time being) it allows to have a three person committee should disagreements need to be addressed. If the league (2/3) ever disagrees with me on an issue, you are welcome to try and convince the other two officers to overrule my decision. At some point, we will try and get a basic league constitution together.
I will be posting to the league web-site instead of blasting out countless emails. All of your employers would prefer to have it this way.
